A teenager took the surprise of his life when walking down the street and talking on his cell phone in China. The boy stepped on a small part of the sidewalk, instantly fell into a hole and disappeared underground, and it was all caught on video. But it was his rescue had people buzzing Shaanxi Province.
A taxi driver who witnessed the shocking incident rushed to the hole to find the lying at the bottom of a 18 foot deep well girl. The region has long been eroded by groundwater, forming a large hole in the middle of the sidewalk.
The cab driver jumped into the well to help the girl, but the two had to be carried to the surface by firefighters. The family members of the girl used video to help track down the hero to thank him for his good deed.
