
German TV channel Deutsche Telekom announced the launch of a chain specially designed for dogs.
DOGTV is a pioneer inspired by the success of the formula in the United States, where a similar channel was introduced two years ago.
The company said in a statement Tuesday that DOGTV began airing on Sunday in Germany. Up to seven million dogs will be able to see the programs developed based on the best scientific research and analysis of how animals behave in front of the television.
Nicholas Dodman, professor of veterinary medicine at Tufts University, said that the purpose of the chain received only the animal abusers to the boob tube, but an alternative to the monotony dogs suffer when they were alone at home.
According to studies deemed reliable channel, 60 to 70 percent of people who own dogs let watching TV when they leave the house.

The channel can also be seen in Japan, South Korea and Israel as a subscription service. DOGTV expected to reach Britain, Ireland and France in the near future.
